Approved Truck Cameras

About the Hill Descent
Monitoring Application HDM is a safety application that monitors heavy vehicle speed on long or steep descents, as well as identifying if a vehicle has stopped before descending a hill for the driver to conduct safety and brake checks – potentially avoiding catastrophic failure of brakes and accidents. Regulators and road managers can use the certiﬁed telematics application to monitor compliance, while it delivers real-world productivity and safety beneﬁts to transport operators.

Designed to withstand Australia’s harshest conditions, the 8004 model use s cellular tracking technology to remotely monitor where, when, and how higher mass/oversize vehicles are being operated on the road network. The feature set of the 8004 BlackBox Control’s hallmark model, includes TCA type-approved antenna and our Knosis operating system to allow:
